Establishment of Nikon Precision Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

TOKYO - Nikon Corporation is pleased to announce the establishment of Nikon Precision Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (Takaki Miura, Managing Director) in Penang, Malaysia. This new company will serve as a service base for the semiconductor equipment business in Southeast Asia focused on Malaysia and will begin operations in November 2023.
Establishment of Nikon Precision Malaysia will further solidify Nikon's support system in Malaysia, where investment by semiconductor manufacturers is rapidly accelerating. In addition, collaboration with Nikon Singapore Pte. Ltd.'s established service business will allow Nikon to further strengthen its semiconductor equipment business in Southeast Asia's expanding market.
