Nikon to Support “14th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m)”

TOKYO - Nikon Corporation (Nikon) is pleased to announce its official partnership with the Fédération International de Natation (FINA) at the 14th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) (December 11 to 16, 2018 in Hangzhou, China).
As an official FINA partner, the Nikon logo will be conspicuous throughout, appearing on the men's bibs, photographers' bibs and at the pool side during the event. In addition, for the professional photographers covering this event, Nikon Imaging (China) Sales Co., Ltd. (NICS) will set up a service center of Nikon Professional Services (NPS) to offer support and services, including equipment inspections, cleaning, minor repairs and the loan of equipment.
Furthermore, NICS will conduct on-site promotions to enhance the excitement of the championships. At the Booth, there will be a photo shooting section for visitors to take commemorative photos and a Touch and Try section for our new full-frame mirrorless cameras, the Z 7 and Z 6, which are selling in high demand. In addition, NICS will sell digital cameras including the Z 7 and Z 6, interchangeable lenses, binoculars, and accessories.
The FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) is a prestigious biennial aquatic sports event governed by FINA, which has 209 member federations. Exciting events featuring top athletes from around the world are expected. Nikon first partnered with FINA in 2007 and has supported the FINA World Championships, and the FINA World Swimming Championships (25m), ever since. Because of Nikon's respect for athletes, who continuously challenge their own limits, and its wish to enhance its presence worldwide, Nikon will continue to support international sporting events.
