Nikon Plaza Sendai

The Nikon Plaza Sendai is a complex facility set up as a base station for reconstruction support and operated by Nikon Imaging Japan Inc. and the Community Contribution Section of Nikon Corporation.
It provides a community space to NPOs or volunteer groups so that they may utilize the space for activities in aid of the reconstruction. The community space is also host to a variety of local cultural activities. The photo gallery is likewise provided to photography enthusiasts and photographic groups so that photographic exhibitions may conveniently be held. Provision is also made at the facility's service center for a repair and maintenance service for imaging-related devices.

In the year ending March 2016, various exhibitions were held at Nikon Plaza Sendai. They includes Taiguruma* Revival Project's Taiguruma making workshop, the first workshop held at Nikon Plaza, and Japan Design Calligrapher's Association's reconstruction-support exhibition.

Photo gallery: A free gallery space devoted to photography for photographer, photo enthusiasts, schools and other bodies in the Tohoku area.
Community space: Multi-purpose space for seminars, for recovery support activities and for local cultural events.
Photo Square: A free display space devoted to photography to present works by photographer and photo enthusiasts.
Service center: For receiving repair requests and for providing direct support in respect of maintenance.
