Major features of Nikon Racket Type Loupe 4D / 8D / 10D

  1. Wide viewing area
The rectangular model "4D (*magnification: 1.5x) "and two (2) rounded models "8D (*magnification: 2x) " and "10D (*magnification: 2.5x) " each have a wide viewing area thanks to a wide lens diameter.
    *
Note: the magnification value is based on a viewing distance of approximately 250mm (9.8 in.)

  2. Unique design with small sub lens featuring different diopter
The "Racket-type" loupe has a small sub lens, attached to the grip portion of the loupe, that has a large diopter (*higher magnification value).
It is useful when reading small letters.
This small sub lens is also a part of the unique design of the racket-type loupe.

  3. Equi-convex lens enables viewing through both sides
This "Racket-type" loupe uses an equi-convex lens for both the main lens and the small sub lens. The view is identical from either side.
Also, the main equi-convex lens of the "8D" model and the "10D" model is an aspherical (AS) lens that shows clear images, even at the rim of the lens.

  4. Lightweight and suitable for extended use
The "Racket-type" is light because the lenses and frame are made of plastic.
You will not get tired from holding it for a long time, thus it is good when reading a book or enjoying a hobby.
The gripping area is wrapped with rubber, so it fits great in your hand. It is also sanitized.
