Nikon understands that some article appeared in the media regarding Nikon's expected financial results. Nikon has made no announcement in this regards.
Nikon's fincancial results of the 2nd quarter for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2010 will be announced on November 5. Even before it, we will immediately announce any financial information wherever required by the rules of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
