Four years have passed since I last updated this Explore the Unexplored and this is because during my third visit to Tibet, I met with a life-threatening accident.
As I headed toward Chomolungma along paths that could hardly be called paths at all, the car I was driving overturned. I fell over a cliff and suffered serious injury leaving me unconscious. Although I narrowly escaped death, I was nevertheless hospitalized for a whole year.
Following this, in July 2007, I alighted at Lhasa Airport for the first time in four years ready for my last visit to Tibet and to encounter the “summer” scenery that spread over the borders between Nepal, India and China.
