Aiming to Continue Providing Products and Services with Integrity

The Nikon Group seeks to increase satisfaction and trust of our customer and furthermore to contribute to the development of sound society by continuing to provide products and services that have superior levels of quality and safety and are beneficial to society, through use of a wide range of technological capabilities.
For this reason, an optimal system for maintenance and improvement of quality is organized, by aiming to implement measures that take the customer's perspective into consideration at all times.

To enable customers to use Nikon products with safety and comfort, Nikon has established a strict Quality Control Directive (QCD) seeking to achieve further "quality" improvements.

All business departments and major subsidiaries have acquired certification from third-party control bodies under ISO 9001 - a standard certifying appropriate quality control.

The Nikon Group has established on its own the "Safety Design Principle" for ensuring its products are safe for customers, the environment, and manufacturing personnel and manages the entire product life cycle from the product-planning stage.

Handling of Personal Information

The Nikon Group works to manage and maintain the personal information it obtains from customers appropriately, to ensure that such information is handled properly.
